Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Futurepost ("Service"), including our website, web application, API, and browser extension (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Futurepost is operated by Futurepost ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms govern your use of all Futurepost products and services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Futurepost, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To use Futurepost, you must sign in using your 𝕏 (Twitter) account via OAuth. By authenticating, you authorize us to access your 𝕏 account information as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your 𝕏 account credentials.
• All activity that occurs through your Futurepost account.
• Ensuring your 𝕏 account complies with 𝕏's Terms of Service.

4. Description of Service

Futurepost provides tools for managing your 𝕏 presence:

• Tweet Scheduling - Schedule, draft, and publish tweets, threads, polls, and media posts.
• Analytics - Track tweet performance and account growth metrics.
• Media Gallery - Upload, organize, and manage media for your posts.
• Automations - Set up automated posting schedules, auto-retweets, and auto-plugs.
• Team Collaboration - Share account access with team members under different roles.
• Unfollow Tool - Browser extension to manage and filter your following list on 𝕏.

5. Subscription Plans & Billing

5.1 Plans

Futurepost offers the following plans:

• Free - Limited features at no cost.
• Pro ($12/month) - Full feature access for individuals.
• Team ($29/month) - Team collaboration features.

5.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Affiliate & Referral Program

Futurepost offers a referral program with a 10% commission on referred paid subscriptions. By participating, you agree to:

• Not use misleading or deceptive tactics to generate referrals.
• Not self-refer or create fraudulent accounts.
• Comply with all applicable advertising and disclosure regulations.

We reserve the right to modify commission rates, withhold payments for suspected fraud, or terminate the program at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Futurepost to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or 𝕏's Terms of Service.
• Post or schedule spam, malware, or misleading content.
• Engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior or platform manipulation.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or compromise the Service.
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair Futurepost or 𝕏.
• Use automation features to circumvent 𝕏's rate limits or posting restrictions.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

8. Browser Extension

The Futurepost browser extension ("Unfollow Tool") requires access to your X.com browsing session. By installing the extension, you acknowledge that it:

• Accesses your X.com session cookies for authentication.
• Reads page content on X.com to sync your following list.
• Performs unfollow actions on your behalf at your direction.

You are solely responsible for compliance with 𝕏's Terms of Service when using the extension. Rate limiting is built in, but excessive use may still result in action from 𝕏.

9. Team Accounts

Team features allow multiple users to access shared 𝕏 accounts. The team owner is responsible for:

• Managing team member access and roles.
• Content posted by team members through shared accounts.
• Ensuring team members comply with these Terms.

Available roles (Owner, Admin, Editor, Viewer) grant different levels of access. Team owners should assign roles appropriate to each member's responsibilities.

10. Content & Intellectual Property

10.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, schedule, or post through Futurepost. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

10.2 Media Uploads

Media uploaded to Futurepost is stored securely and used only in connection with your posts and gallery. You represent that you have the right to upload and publish any media you provide.

10.3 Our Property

The Futurepost name, logo, website, application code, and all related intellectual property are owned by Futurepost. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

11. Third-Party Services

Futurepost integrates with third-party services including 𝕏 (Twitter), Stripe, and others. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

12. Service Availability & Disclaimers

Futurepost is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee:

• That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• That scheduled posts will be published at the exact time specified.
• That analytics data will be perfectly accurate or real-time.
• Continued compatibility with 𝕏's API.

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Futurepost shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Lost profits or revenue.
• Failed or delayed tweet posting.
• Data loss or corruption.
• Actions taken by 𝕏 against your account.
• Unauthorized access to your account due to compromised credentials.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Futurepost in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the account settings. Upon deletion:

• All 𝕏 OAuth tokens are revoked.
• All your data (tweets, media, analytics, team data) is permanently deleted.
• Active subscriptions are cancelled.

We may also suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these Terms.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
